Thanks guys.
Normally I don't get so far backed up. But with my gtg a few weeks ago, helping with my son's wedding reception venue, and my regular job, I needed a break. Another few months though and it'll be sunny and 70 in the shop

This thing is a little crazy, but if I were to show you the cylinder, which of course I can't find the pic of now, you would be amazed how it runs like this. I barely massaged the bottom transfers and exhaust at all. This is a gasket delete, and all uppers and intake here, with three holes in the muffler. It's cold weather out and race saw lean for the vid, tho.
22" bar(78dl), stock chain, green beech - HyWay 76cc top end. The wet AF Beech had a bit of a pinch in it, so I was careful towards the end of the cut - it was downed in a storm and I had just cut off the root ball.

Love that idle sound. I'm swearing at the top of the vid because I couldn't start it with my left hand.
ETA, I also am purdy sure I advanced the timing, too.

For comparison, here's an open port 65cc OEM top end in the exact same wood zoomed out a bit. BTW, both saws wearing 8pin rims. Well, both builds - same saw. SInce that 76cc top end just looked like a normal ported top end, I don't think I bothered taking pics. Especially since I didn't think it would run like it did. But I DO have pics of this ported OEM 65cc top end since it was a bit out of the ordinary. If I had it to do again, I would have sculpted the bottom end tighter to increase flow.
