Just a 24 in some hickory. Whatever your doing with the 461’s keep it up Randy. Seems like a solid worksaw from first impressions. Be interesting to see how this runs when it breaks in.

Those 462 looked solid.

I was cutting the same stuff about eight hours ago. Got some free machine loaded-up small saw logs. Had to cry and take the base in chunks, five footer. I saw the crew stop and stare at the 66 with a 32" Lite. Chain was spot on, big chips for round file. Trying to do more square by hand for that hard stuffs like lucust and old oaks, brutal... Maybe get vids of that sometime. Kicked the chain on the sixty doing the back felling cut

I had this 064 tuned to 13.8-14k. It’ll go higher, but I don’t think it’s 100% broken in yet. It be interesting to get a 385, 288 or 281 here and see if they hang with this thing. This old girl always impresses me every time I run it.

That thing runs pretty tit to be honest. 281/88 would be a good match up for it.

Check out the ring spacing in the hickory I was cutting. Only 17” dbh and over 100 years old. Hard as a rock. I cut ones in the same grove as this one twice the size. Grows slow in the forest and good quality! 99B4F020-2A0E-4C53-8546-B1421F94264A.jpeg
