I only have one porter friendly one left. And it'll probably get sold before ported.

I don't have an issue with Stihl saws, I get better parts cost on husky stuff OEM. I am sure others get better cost on Stihl parts. Booth make some good saws and some duds. I still prefer my redheads the most though, still the best looking saws made, imo.

That's the goal. You could have the strongest saw but a *s-word chain and it wouldnt matter. It's like a vehicles tire, the better the tire the better the car will perform. It's the medium in which it operates lol

Meteor piston, caber rings, base gasket bye-bye with band cut to set squish, muffler mod, slight widening of ports.
About as basic as you can get and still call it ported I guess.
