550's turn up just as good. Some are better. Not mine, yet.[/QUOTE
Hell yeah! I’m down for some run whatcha brungYou fellers should do a chain race at CT
And didn't your big saw loose to Jeff's 660??? What's your point Mason? And I don't think your 7900 did so well against a lowly little Hybrid that is far lighter!
In case you missed my point Mason, a saw does not have to be the fastest one to be a good saw. If it runs well, and you like it, that is all that matters.
round crotch wood with run what you brung chain and sawNo interest from me, I just do work chain and could care less how fast my saw can go through a cant.
That White Oak cant was somewhat of an exception, it was tough enough to slow just about every saw down.
Mike, I’m not pickin on ya here. But if you don’t care about how fast your saw is, then why all this fuss about times and racing in the big cant?No interest from me, I just do work chain and could care less how fast my saw can go through a cant.

If that was your point, then everybody missed it.
As mudMason was ragging Jeff about having a saw that got beat by other saws, so I pointed out that Mason also has saws that got beat by other saws.
Seems pretty darn clear to me.
