I haven’t seen a 55o that’ll run with a well done 346 especially one with the 357 carb and intake set up on them. Don’t get me wrong they both are great as I have one of each. But there is something about a 346 that just makes it special. The one I have now won’t ever be leaving
550's turn up just as good. Some are better. Not mine, yet.[/QUOTE

We do it every year...
I get beat every year, but I have fun. Unfortunately I am only good at filing round work chains. I don't have a grinder. I'm not that good at square filing. So I just run my work saws with a work tune and a work chain. I really don't even turn up the wick that much.
I just do the best I can with what I have, and have fun doing it.
Great bunch of guys here! [emoji106]
The kinship is what it's all about.

No interest from me, I just do work chain and could care less how fast my saw can go through a cant.

That White Oak cant was somewhat of an exception, it was tough enough to slow just about every saw down.

And didn't your big saw loose to Jeff's 660??? What's your point Mason? And I don't think your 7900 did so well against a lowly little Hybrid that is far lighter!

In case you missed my point Mason, a saw does not have to be the fastest one to be a good saw. If it runs well, and you like it, that is all that matters.

If that was your point, then everybody missed it.

Mike, I’m not pickin on ya here. But if you don’t care about how fast your saw is, then why all this fuss about times and racing in the big cant?
Why do you have so many ported saws if you don’t care how fast they are?
