Different saw. I left the stroker and a few other boat anchors at home.

@huskihl dolmar ran, but had carb issues. Swapped carbs when I got home and all is good

Nice saws Dan! Mason was just happy the Stihl was slower. But for the test you gotta use same bar and chain. To me the 7900 chain looked more aggressive. The 500i sounded like it had much higher RPMs in the cut but chain was less aggressive.
Just calling them the way I see them.

Try opening the oil ports on the bar with a diamond ball bur a bit.

Will do Steve. It's better now without bar mods. It was same with the Tsumura and the Stihl bars....just low output from the powerhead.

Another 500i clip...cleaned the bar and threw on an Archer 28".

AlfA0I is that wood soft (it looks as soft as pine to me) the 500i looks very underwhelming to me compared to a ported 75cc saw .
Could be the lack of oil too hindering chain speed .
