That is one bytchin little saw. A few passes on the cutters not taking the gullet too deep will make that chain right as rain my friend.

Yup. Exactly I was close to a perfect chain as far as my capabilities go. Next time out on that chain should be sweet.

I use a raker gauge to even them up if I hit something and one side of cutters had to be filed more or something like that, so it will cut straight. I tune the chain to the saw and take the same amount of swipes off all the rakers by hand. My 7900 feels like the chain is dull if I use stock height, likes .040 or so on a 24 7 pin to cut and bore good. If I made it too aggressive, then it’ll come out with a few swipes like Treelife mentions.
