I’ve got too many saws and not enough firewood cutting to break them in.
Poor me.

If I never bought another saw for as long as I'm alive, I could not wear out the ones I have now.

So what I've been doing is, pick one saw, run it and it only, run 2, 3 or 4 gallons through it. Then clean it put it on the shelf. Next time you need to cut wood, pick another saw, repeat.

I rarely take more then one saw with me cutting. Right now my TM 461 arctic is getting all the attention. Have 4 gallons mixed up for it. When those 4 gallons are gone, I probably get a 044 or 046 out.

That is just what I do, YMMV...

It's really coming alive, just over two gallons through it now.
