Been on ar15.com since 99’ and thought we had a great group there, you guys take the cake.

Amazing, the wealth of knowledge, caring, and welliness to help.

The acceptance of newbies is also great.

I was on Arf for years (06-2013) I walked away because of several corrupt/unethical moderators. I still lurk but don’t log in or post anymore. OPE seems to channel the best of boards like Arf and AS without the childish bullschitt (at least as long as I don’t post much). Great folks here: they enbody “love thy neighbor” and “do unto others as you wish upon yourself” and are the epitome of friends. The amazing generosity and genuine care, compassion, love and thoughtfulness is reminiscent of a small, tight knit community. Not everyone likes each other, not everyone sees eye-to-eye, not everyone agrees on things; but at the end of the day when someone falls down or loses a finger they all make sure everyone is taken care.

I concur about the newbs, i’ve never seen anywhere else on the webs where newbs are not only accepted but are welcome. Bullbusting is not only essential, its a form of flattery.

I could not agree more strongly with @usmcbuckwild

I have experience with more than quite a few enthusiast forums and have moderated 2.

This forum sets the bar and I can’t think of any other one that comes very close.

This is actually a different saw.....but same bar and chain. I built several of these together.....well, you know. LOL
