I do quite a few of them about an inch below grade or flush because many would rather save the money on grinding a stump(also they don't want to deal with the yard being tore up even for a short time). I don't mind filing a chain a bunch of times when I go into a job with that in mind and the charge is built into the job, when I get stuck sharpening and I wasn't expecting it, that stinks.Something tells me 1 sharpen, 1 cut. Lol

When I do them I top bar them and keep the point the chain enters out of the dirt so I'm tossing the dirt away instead of pulling it through the cut, it saves a lot of filing, but not all of it.
No wrap handles on that part of the job lol.
