Husky offers most filters in fine mesh #44 micron, nylon mesh #80 micron, and felt. I get confused easily, so I just remember bigger number lets through bigger particles. More air too :)

Pretty sure bigger number is finer holes, so bigger number restricts larger particles more than lower.

If it’s rated in microns, it refers to the hole size, so Duane is correct, if it’s rated as say a #15 mesh, it is holes per inch, So Al is correct.

Microns with respect filters, the bigger the number the tighter the mesh. So bigger number restricts the size of particles that can get by and filters better.
But also let's less air in.

image.jpg (Hear) is a 357/9 AF listing. Got my attention. Mesh is all well and good for air flow, but they let stuff through. I have tons of wood with a punky outer layer. Lots of ultra fine dust in the air while cutting. I forgo the performance when cutting that crap. Using the # symbol was a mistake.

The smallest micron will be the smallest measurement.
1 inch = 25,400 microns
1 centimeter = 10,000 microns
1 millimeter = 1000 microns
.020 inch = 508 microns
.002 inch = 50.8 microns.

I don't know how husqvarna lists their sizes to comment on that.

I was referring microns as it relates to filters on my diesel truck. I use the lowest micron rated filter I can get for my fuel. Smaller number the better.

That372bb dont run too bad. Maybe lacking on a oem 372 but not bad. Nice job.

The carb is weird on it. The high speed doesn't seem like it does much, it's such a mean sounding saw in real life its hard to tell if it's 4 stroking or not and rpm doesn't change much with the screw. And nothing I can adjust makes a difference in the lean bog as it revs up. I think I'm going to really have to dig into one of these China carbs and make it not suck.

Here's a couple cuts from the last event.
I have no idea what happened to my saw 1/3 of the way through but it started sounding pretty rough. The trip cut my elevation in half and I didn't fatten it up to compensate, and I also fear the case bolt may have loosened enough to let bar oil into the crank.
