Mels saw. Round file. Held 11500 in cut. Down to 10500 at times. Last cut i pushed to 8500 to see what it had.

Went into wood at 14500 and came out at 15700 first cut. Fattened it up. Doesnt even have a tank on it yet. All new parts.

8 pin 3/8
Nice!

Welcome to the club. Youll end up like me selling nice new saws for classics lol
I think I'm fine with that, David :-) I'm in the process of searching for another pickup, 60s vintage 2wd to cruise in and fix up. I just love old stuff, my daddy told me I was born 100 years too late!

Finally got a video with the saw with the new intake. I had the rubber deflector in the clutch cover come unseated which is what I think made it clog during noodling. What's weird is the plug still looks rich and the top of the piston just wet after running. Does it sound rich?

Sounds good to me. Keep your dog's off the log a bit when you're noodling will help with it clogging up.

China 5200 saw. It's a redmax gvs450 copy that's factory overbored to 45mm making it a 52cc. I got the saw for free on ebay because it was advertised as 62cc and I got excited thinking it was the g621 clone for really cheap, but then I measured the bore and stroke. I made a huge stink when they were off a whole 10cc and they refunded me, I would have shipped it back of they wanted it but it would have cost them like 35 bucks on the return label and I know if you buy these by the container load they cost less than that.
