13.7k under load sounds impressive.
If nothing else the limited coil will keep the engine from revving too high without load.
I believe specs claim 13.5k for the 6400/7300/7900, and 12.8k on the 7310/7910.
I could be wrong though, wouldn't be the first time either.
Any videos of that PS-7900 of Yours?!
6421 is still 13,500 if I’m not mistaken.View attachment 111529 View attachment 111530
Owners manual shows 13,500 for the older 6400-7900
And 12,800 once they changed to the 6421-7910 epa, slr, cat, double d adjusting saws
It could be, I have a 6421 manual in filing cabinet in shop, will check and confirm. I can't remember why I thought it was included in the lower rpm coil recipient's category.6421 is still 13,500 if I’m not mistaken.
It would make sense as to why they have a separate manual and other oddities like stainless muff and such...6421 is still 13,500 if I’m not mistaken.
I honestly wonder why it has the different coil and muffler. Maybe someone in the know can enlighten us?It would make sense as to why they have a separate manual and other oddities like stainless muff and such...
Doh!!they are not the same so that makes them different duh

I possibly have nearly every manual and IPL that ever came out for these saws, so yes I know what the manuals say.View attachment 111529 View attachment 111530
