Picked up a 36" old skool GB bar and a loop of LPX from the hippy. The 066 seems to like it
I opened the venturi on this carb. It was flooding so I increased the pop off a tad. I still think it needs some more. The high doesnt tune like I think it should.Would you be so kind as to point out what your tuning problem is? Because it sounds like it's pretty dialed in. The chain sucks, but that saw really cuts.
File the side of your rakers to vertical and those chips will stop grabbing your chain like that.
Got a stock carb to try?I opened the venturi on this carb. It was flooding so I increased the pop off a tad. I still think it needs some more. The high doesnt tune like I think it should.
As far as the chain, It doesnt suck, its the bar. I closed the rails before I made that vid. I have one of two issues, either the chain wasnt tight enough or there are places on the bar that are a bit to tight for the drivers. I need to sort it.
I got 4 more J.Got a stock carb to try?
Most of the carbs I grind on loose some tunability
Sounds good!Yeah I know is only a ms211 but I enjoy the challenge getting more out of it...And that would be no its no longer a true strato.

25" bar buried with an 8 pin. Not too shabby!
Like a hot knife thru butter though!15,600 was too much didn't realize it till I checked it after the vid. It's back down to 15,000 now
Very nice! 7910 top?
