OK. Thats why there are several models and sizes. Everyone uses the saws they want to use. Everyone is different. Maybe we can agree on that?

I didnt disagree at all that people like different things..i actually totally agree..i just said fuel consumption is a non-issue for an occasional/hobby type user.

I suppose I could do that. I just thought canned fuel was safer for saws. Just trying to protect my equipment best I can.

It is better has no ethanol in it but it's too expensive for me. I don't keep same fuel in a saw for more than a month so I just use 93 e10 40:1, there are stations that sell non ethanol though but there too far from me

Ive used e10 in the past with mix that had stabilizer in it and never had a fuel issue in my life...even after months of sitting.

Canned fuel is retarded expensive to burn on the regular.

I've never had problems either, only time had problem was with a snowblower had to clean carb after i forgot to run dry and it sat over summer but that was my fault.

My dad is 68 and he's used a 372 or 562 for a whole tank of cutting just weeks ago. He won't use a 120cc though. He has used the 90cc some but he does say they're a little heavy.
My dad is 73 and is a chainsaw fanatic
Always loved big saws and ran a 5200 Poulan most of the time that I still have and use but he likes the 026 Al did for him and will run a big saw a little bit but not one of the real loud and fast ones.
If he needs to use a bigger saw then that's what I'm for.

My 034 is a 86 model I think and has only ran the cheapest 87 octane gas,my father in law cut wood for a living for many years with it and I got it 10 years ago probably and it has sit for a year at a time and starts and runs great,it's also never has the carb rebuilt or a fuel line or fuel filter.

Some of the best carbs I've used are from a old logger saw That's blew up and been in a box for 10 years.
Some ain't any good but usually they are just fine

I bucked all of this Oak and Hickory with less than a tank of fuel in my 044 running a 28" light bar on it. I don't care what saw you have, if you had to refuel to do it, it would have taken you longer.

It does not have the torque of my ported 460s, but if you keep the engine in it's range, it cuts damn near as fast.

I love my 70 cc saw!
