I cut a nail into that I guess was from a old tree stand because I'm in the middle of nowhere, knocked the hole left side off the chain on the 394.

About to head out for round 2. Forgot to knock off rakers on 372, they were too high and chain was not biting good at all. I don't put much trust into that chain as it was rocked before. Took a lot of filing. Hopefully it's better. I advanced timing on 044 for this time.

460 won't get to run unless I rob the carb parts from the 461. Hd17 won't hold a tune.

I'm in shock, this 044 destroyed the 372. Both good chains this time. 044 with advanced timing had 8-9 second cuts. The 372 had 12 sec cuts. 044 was making 12 second cuts yesterday, so it gained noticeably with the key filed in half to advance timing, still tuned at 14k for both saws. Keep in mind this 372 outcut a stock 576xp by 3 secs before in a similar log, so it's no slouch.

Hd2 filter, duel port muff and timing advanced. It's a low hour early 12mm saw with a factory slant fin top end. It always ran good even before mods.
