No fooling the 362 gen11 is very awesome saw.
I need to weigh them but I think it's lighter than a 5105 dolmar. No joke
I hope it's back to a 14 lb 71cc powerhead.

My neighbor hit me up for some charger plates for an upcoming wedding. The longer logs I have are really dry and stickery so I had no choice but to use these shorter pieces of cured red alder. I used the opportunity to check out Dave's 2051 with an 8 tooth sprocket and off the roll .325 chain.

And yes...I caught a whiff of something really bad about half way through.

I think it is a 462, there was a pic of it in the new calendar (I think my wife threw it away). Rummer is a 73 cc saw that is less than 14 lbs. The pic was not a M-Tronic saw.

I would have thought that all the new pro saws would be mtronic.

I would have thought so too Jason, but Stihl recently re introduced non M-Tronic versions of the 261 & 362, so I don't know what is going on. The saw in the calendar had adjustment holes.

I think husky both offered 576xp with and without autotune for a while as well. Wonder why Stihl would do that too.

I pulled the Mofo MS260 down from the shelf to try a nice fast picco chain with 9 pin sprocket.
I might have been faster with an 8 (or even 7) but this is like cutting butter, no chatter at all.
Smoothest cut I may have ever felt.

After a few cuts I wanted to see if there was a little more in the tank so i bumped the high just a tiny smidgeon, it sounded good to me at the time, but it may have slowed the saw down a little.
Looks like ya need less sprocket davey

That's right. The Canadian calendar has a 462 picture in it. I had 442 on the brain for some reason

I started to the other day then realized that I don't have a bar that will fit it.
I got one on the way
Great looking saw! I hear a lot of guys say they'd much rather have the older 200t because of the power difference. Did stihl get the kinks worked out with the new model? Im sure after ported it wouldn't be an issue.
