Nice Jim. Are you still running the stock Zama?.325 square chisel. I added a second deflector with screen on the flywheel side.
I need to order a mesh screen filter for it. It's still running the most restrictive version.
Factory carb with the snorkel for the ms360, but not so stock anymore.Nice Jim. Are you still running the stock Zama?
With the snorkel at the bottom? Or is it an older 036?
I bored it out to turn it into an HD carb. I have it set pretty fat in the video until the rings set. It makes a lot more power if I bring the rpm up.Lol. What did you do to it? Lol
Thank you kindly sir.Real nice job Jim! [emoji106]
Thank you kindly sir.
I've been goofing off with this cylinder a little bit. It started out serious as all could be with a saw this new, but it didn't take long to discover the jug has some spots of bad plating. I've never had plating this bad on a cylinder before. The exhaust was brutal to bevel which lead me to raise the exhaust way farther than I intended to just to clean it up. View attachment 61223
I have several cylinders to replace this one with including a nice early 034 super I picked up the other day.
RiChevy 036 is done.
Strapped a 36 on it to load the rings.
Did ok. First cut at 14500, second 14, third 13,500.
Yes it's the HD series that comes on those two, the 372xp, and a few other 70cc range saws.May I ask what an HD is?
Is that the 440/460 carb?
