Here's an 034av I ported that's been put to use by a tree service full time for just over a year now. It needed a little maintenance so I got my hands on it again for a video.
It showed up pho so I put that set up on it to see it cut. It normally wears a 25" bar.

Jim, do you think dropping to an 8 pin would keep the RPM'S a little bit higher and in the sweet spot? Sounded like it was a little low on the RPM'S in the cut when dogged. 8 pin may "work" a little better.

Sounded good Dallas. Chain and saw were really cutting well.

You compare the square filed chain to a round filed chain in the same wood?

They dont make a .325x8 in the larger spline...i wish they did.

Only oregon small and stihl mini.

I think I just bought a .325 8 pin. I have to check. It may have been 3/8 8 pin.
