i modified the choke arm i have a few spares so i modified one of the spares
How's your fast tach working out? Every so often the battery falls out of mine and I have to put it back but other than that seems to work pretty good
This 440 ran well today. It was 4 stroking almost all the way through the cut at about 14900 RPM'S. I had to lean on the saw to stop the 4 stroking. Ran real well today. 24" bar with 3/8" Carlton full chisel chain.
Wood was a 23" diameter Locust crotch that was pretty hard.

I agree, saw did run great! Did you lean it out after the video?

Under the two screws and cover there's a small round battery and if you shake the tach just enough or put it down sometimes it falls out of the holder. Not really that big of a deal.
Maybe push the wire springs that hold it tighter?
This painfully long video of a stock slow26 is just some proof for my man @PA Dan than I can actually put together a saw that runs!!!! Dan Dan!!! Check it out...plus no extra parts left over!!!!
Also...check the chain I pulled out of the scrap heap to used on this dog turd...torture.

Way to go buddy! Hey I have a chain or two like that. I was going to trash them but then I saw some race chains. Think I'll try to get them even and sharp! This painfully long video of a stock slow26 is just some proof for my man @PA Dan than I can actually put together a saw that runs!!!! Dan Dan!!!
