It is hard on things but the main problem is have is throwing the chain.
It has to be tight or you will throw it

9 is hard on everything, clutch, bar, chain.

Yes, you have to add a link or grind bar to fit

I got a 10 to fit today on one for length. Clutch cover wouldn't tighten down though.

I have a 404 ten somewhere, only had it on the 090 so far

10pin works on a 661 without grinding on anything but any other stihl you have to grind on the clutch cover.

10pin makes it difficult to keep the chain on,the roller nose bar I have is the only one I can use with a 10pin.

I bet it is the Original Techniplate making the difference lol... I have not tried that Mobil yet. Been really content with the Original

Maybe. It's tuned down to 14k. I'm scared to turn it way up yet.
