I never liked one but I never had one that ran as good as this one.
It's tuned way down in those videos.
It's hard to use in small wood over 15k
It's at 14k in that video

Nothing like what you guys are doing to saws but here is my 024/26 I did work on the ports and advanced
It is running 3/8 full comp semi chisel in dry Ash.
.325 or 3/8lp would prolly be faster.

It's faster than my 460s for sure but it will turn way more rpm.
9pin with a 20" and a good chain it's a very fast firewood cutter.

I haven't built one in a couple years because I didn't like them but @Deets066
Built one that looked like it was running the way i thought they should,his saw got me interested in one again.

Yea, the Deets and CFB hybrids at the GTG were eye openers, different than the previous ones I ran.

Sounds like I need to keep the next 044 I see. I know a guy with a nice one he mentioned selling. It's getting hard for him to start it and it has no deco valve.
