Trueing up the end of a giant sequoia I’m going to mill into slabs soon. This chain has already killed 1.5 logs and still cuts decent. Oregon 27ax micro chisel, not the fastest but she lets you cut a long time. Woods ported ms880 and a 41” cannon bar. Usually it’s milling but gets out of the sled to buck or cut stumps now and then.

I'm running 40:1 with stabilizer and octane boost, non ethanol. Maybe a little heavier (32:1) due to error of having a little bit of mix left in the jug. I started using Echo Red Armor this past summer.
I cut the flap off the governor, so the spring is still there but does nothing.
It does rev out well , I used Stihl OEM rings for the build. It's a little more violent than I expected, definitely wont be running this for longer than 4 hrs at a clip!

I got some hardwood today so I was able to see how my 036 hybrid, It might look a little slow but that's very dry oak and it's hard as a rock.

Looks fast enough for me! Its hard to get a good self feeding chain in super dry wood.
