Interesting. I never knew that Stihl made a high volume oil pump for a clamshell 025 saw.

Why would you want .404? Just curious...

Because on a slow reving high torque saw like that 404 gets it done because it can eat a lot more wood than 3/8 .

Because nearly every 100cc+ saw comes from the factory with 404.
Personally I love 404, stays sharp a lot longer then 3/8. chain last longer and cost me the same price.

I agree. I was confused. I thought you were referring to the 572. .404 on the 2100 makes sense
