Thats a real runner, Mike!Ported 357xp.
Dat saw said poyow I’m compressed and run like da dickens!Ported 357xp.
It’s just to prove it can do it. I was just curious. Your cents are welcomedCool to do but 36" bar is 90cc territory all day long.
Saw sounded good though. More realistic test would be 24 or 28" bar in smaller wood. Just my 2 cents.

Pfft !!!hedgerow runs a 36 on a awol 562. Now it’s not the ideal saw but it works he says. Sometimes you just have to run what you brung or do it just because. My stock 500i will run the 36” bar for the little I’ve needed it to. Hopefully soon I’ll have my solo back so that can do the 36” work
I appreciate these types of videos, its nice to see if you only had 1 saw ( like some weirdos) if you could make due with.Coonass ported 272
I actually ported that saw with that very thing in mind. It’s quite upidy with a smaller bar. I ported It to have a wide powerbandI appreciate these types of videos, its nice to see if you only had 1 saw ( like some weirdos) if you could make due with.
RI is gonna say that bar is too big for that saw! Lol look like it likeded it to me
I’ve got a 26” log. The rest are under a foot of snow and ice. I could put a 20 on it and over-buck the hell out of it I guess. But why?RI is gonna say that bar is too big for that saw! Lol look like it likeded it to me
I never question why anyone does anything that worksI’ve got a 26” log. The rest are under a foot of snow and ice. I could put a 20 on it and over-buck the hell out of it I guess. But why?
I don’t have a 357 anymore and my XS2153 pulls a 20” 3/8” better than my 357 did. Is that dumb that I’m running that bar and chain on it? I’m confused now.I’ve got a 26” log. The rest are under a foot of snow and ice. I could put a 20 on it and over-buck the hell out of it I guess. But why?
Or I guess I could port only 80+ cc saws until I can get to another log
