Would you run it naked?
You need the extra long chip deflector if you're gonna do that.
Would you run it naked?
I believe you Mikey.Only if you agree to stroke it for him.
ExpensiveWhat’s the retail again, I forget?
Na that’s old dry yellow box eucalyptus.Wow big difference vs stock. Stock one looked like it was gutless. I guess porting really wakes up certain stihl models?
Sounds like a guy would definitely be money ahead porting saws there TonyNa that’s old dry yellow box eucalyptus.
Think dry frozen oak left to turn to stone for a couple million years.
Chain destroying clutch burning evil stuff to cut.
I’ve seen stihl tungsten chain have the tips melt out of the cutters trying to get through big old logs that have sat for decades.
Basically uncutable
And this is what the grain looks like once split. I've bent the beam on my nearly new splitter trying to split a knotty bit.Na that’s old dry yellow box eucalyptus.

More power makes a huge difference here.Sounds like a guy would definitely be money ahead porting saws there Tony
I know theres a good collection of McCulloch nuts over there , which explains why now.More power makes a huge difference here.
Bigger sprockets do nothing but kill chains and clutches faster.
Most blokes in the states are amazed when I say 90% of the porting work I do is 90cc plus and often those saws are used with 20 to 25" bars at most.
You don't see 60 to 70cc class saws here running 32" bars
If I ever become a billionaire..... HAHAHAHahahaha..... I'm gonna fly a heap of you Americans over and have a GTG cutting big dry Aussie logs.
Runs good! Now that I have some bigger wood I got to see how my 2152 would do with an 18" bar.
Thanks!Runs good!
