I’ll be splitting this weekend only as I have the logs all cut up ...if not I may have been tempted to make the trip to Michigan to get it ...going to be below zero this weekend here in upper New York ...she’s got heat. Lol

Yep. He delivered it.
It probably got pulled over with the loader a bit prematurely

These were taken out of the yard of a $2M house. I’m guessing he cut as much as he felt necessary and pulled it over

Residential definitely a different ballgame than in the middle of the woods for sure

They tend to have a machine and as they start the back cut, they give the signal for full steam ahead. Then it's a race between saw and machine. I had a guy gun it (just a little mini skid) while I made the back cut on a 28" oak, I may have told him to give a little tension. Anyway, I was using a 20" bar, and only cut one side of the back, and he ripped the tree right over. That was a couple years ago, and he still does that to this day.

Yeah ,when ever I have a" puller" we go over the hand signal for tension and go( full syeam ahead) and stop. I always specify that I never use the word "NO" ei if you think I'm saying "no" its really GO!
