394 is a mighty machine, nicely done.
Son off a biscuit, I gotta get me one of those 94 or 95's. Nice work on that one Mister
That 7310 didn't give a fvckI’m surprised how these saws pulled .404 for there size.
Yup I agree. The only thing the 79cc topend has over the 73cc is some added low end grunt. They usually cut a similar speed. At least from my experiences running a few 7300/7310/7900/7910’s.That 7310 didn't give a fvck

Nice Kevin. Holds some good RPMs in the cut!
Im using a 25“ 404 b&c on my nearly stock 462. I like this setup more then 3/8. chain will stay sharp almost forever compared to 3/8.I’m surprised how these saws pulled .404 for there size.
I have .404 on my 32” and 42” bars to mill with or cut the occasional large tree I need it for . I use 3/8 on my shorter bars that I log with but I do want to try a 24” .404 setup. I bore cut a lot, 3/8 is definitely smoother and the wood is usually clean. But in the wintertime .404 could be desirable for its durability in frozen hardwood or skidded logs with frozen dirt on them. Only one way to find out I guess.Im using a 25“ 404 b&c on my nearly stock 462. I like this setup more then 3/8. chain will stay sharp almost forever compared to 3/8.
do u use a 404 setup when u are working? Or is that only a play setup for u?
What kind of wood are you cutting?Im using a 25“ 404 b&c on my nearly stock 462. I like this setup more then 3/8. chain will stay sharp almost forever compared to 3/8.

Nice. Most of the big wood I am cutting is beech, sometimes oak or ash.
The sticks behind me are quite a bit bigger. Spent five hours breaking the biggest one down so the customer could move it out of the backyard by hand.Nice big beech tree
I hope I will get something like this in the firewood season
