MEH ....... I’ll just stand off to the left side a bit.

#whoneedschaps?

Moparmyway ported MS500i
9 tooth 375
25”
26” diameter Solid oak

This saw could easily run a 9 tooth while fallin out in the woods. Gave it everything I had to be able to stuff it and stall the chain. Only 1/2 tank through this saw, ported NIB.

I believe I have a new favorite saw !!

I didn't realize people would like the "old saw" videos.
I'll try to post some of the Homelite super 1050A with a proper sized log.
Only cut a smaller oak with it testing a new bar and chain combination.
It a factory 8pin .404

I think you will find the folk round here appreciate about any good saw regardless of the constant ribbing you might see and hear. Old mag always has a special place in my heart.

Well that’s the easy part LOL. Even I got it to do that :p

I'll see if I can get it in some wood and tune the top end over the weekend. One day it will sit and idle the next day it will idle and surge, idle and surge. I'm trying to decide whether or not to leave the velocity stack on it. Without I think I can keep it under the covers.

Is that the saw that hung a ring?
Damn she looks good there.
Yes, that was it before it had the mishap. Lots and lots of balls, sir. It was literally a pleasure to use. Still thrifty on fuel as well. Can't wait to have it back!

Well, I at least got it in a little wood before realizing the tank has a leak, it heats up real quick and it popped off the impulse line. Not awful for a start but still has a little ways to go.
