I suggest a disclaimer, you put your saw on this mowshin. its public info. We are trying to figure out how to tune these motors. they are getting stronger because we discuss the good bad and ugly. Thanks to mopar, al and jason and anyone I may have forgotten for being open to share their runs and their build specs.
This is what it's intended purpose is. Not for any "I'm the best" BS.
Very well put David.

Jason, the 460 he did for me won't match your 064, but I think it will be impressive for the size of the saw. Will wait for the chart, but I think we will be in just under 8 (8 flashed several times). Maybe 7.8??? We will see.
That's very impressive.
I don't think my 460's can hang with that.

I just wanna see one of my 026's crush Jason's 064, and I wanna know why, and I want an oompa loompa now.

ROFLMAO. Al -- 50% of the reason I enjoy running into you at the GTG is you are one funny guy. I wish you were local so you could come by my brother's shop, have a beer, and keep the boys laughing.

2 of my 026's cant hang with J's 064.

Mine wasn't even Dynoed. I wish it was :(
Maybe 2 can. We got some runs, though they made some sparks. The chain got loose on the .325 setup. I didn't think we logged them but I got a nice surprise this am.

These were the most important Dyno runs for me.

My 036 has an OEM metal aitfilter on it.

My MS360 had a super restrictive flocked OEM filter on it. The type that's tough to breathe air through. I swapped to nylon at one point, which was less restictive. I even leaned her to 15k with the nylon and made between 6-6.5 hp. Then we ran her with no filter at all and she hit 16k. The results were very suprising.

I'm sure the air filter gains are like all else in a saw. It's gotta work together. On a stock saw, this wouldn't have had the same effect. I wish I had @Backtroller saw with me. His is even faster.

Forgive me if the pics are out of order. Doing the best I can.

Remember it's the difference, not the total output that matters here.

These are not necessarily true HP outputs. This is for showing the difference one factor can make. The curve of the no filter exaggerates the output, so does the rpm. Please keep that in mind.
