The poly flywheel is a direct match for the 064 shaft taper. There's the little plastic rim on the backside that needs trimmed down about a millimeter so it seats all the way down without bumping into the case. I'm sure there are other coils that will work with this flywheel that match the case bolt pattern better but here is a pic of an 1128 with a notch taken out of the bolt hole to give it something to hold it down.View attachment 26817

Thanks Jim.

I assume an unlimited 066 coil will give the correct spark timing. It will bolt on to the factory holes.

It's worth a try and will likely work. I was under the impression the coil that comes with the poly is the only one that would work with it at the time I was doing it or I would have tried one of the direct bolt on ones that I have sitting in my coil bucket.

The one set back is you have to modify the recoil cover to fit an 1128 recoil spool. It might not be worth it if you don't have all the parts to start with.

If I have to fork out for a coil and flywheel, I think I will just get an 064 flywheel and coil.

@jmssaws

Do you know if the 1122 400 1201 unlimited flywheel will work with the standard 1300 coils

I have an 041 that will go on the bench one day for a birthday.
That reminds me, I need to pay a bloke for a side cover!

What carb you guys running on a 394/395?

Anyone using an 372 XT carb on them?

No easy swaps to a bigger one without making an intake block.

You can make a plate to boot a bigger carb to. Only problem is fitting a filter then.

That sucks but they're cheap aftermarket. I would have started it and seen if it would tune.
