What were some of the issues? Looks like lots removed from the base.

050 from the base
The main problem was that stock it was
110 131 78
The exhaust and transfers are raised as far as they can go,out of material.
I don't know how it ran but the exhaust port opened on the pto side corner first and would have hung eventually.
The meteor piston in the meteor cylinder had .003 clearance
Saw was sent to me to port but I didn't know it had a am cylinder until I tore it apart.

The lowers are gigantic to match the uppers that are a 1/2" tall from being raised.

Been slowly building my 385 between fixing customer saws. Rebuilt the bottom end,new meteor piston.

Mike Lee cut the base and squish and I ported it using his numbers.

Didn't take a ton of pictures but here's a few.

Got it together today and did a little test run. The Tilly carb was giving me fits for some reason so I swapped in a new rwj-4 that I bought for my 371. Looks like I'll be picking up another one.

The saw feels real strong I'll get some video after I have some more time to fiddle with it.

I got the machine work done and the cylinder layed out for porting on a 661 today and ran a couple saws.
Drove all the way out to my log and jerked the pull rope out on the first pull.
So actually I ran a saw today.
