Hi guys,

More of a heads up than a question. Had my first ever chainsaw accident today. Wearing a full face mesh visor and cutting as usual when I got something in my eye. It's happened before (little bit of dust) and didn't think much of it. Well after a day of a sore eye, I thought a little more of it and looked in a mirror with a torch to find a piece of steel had embedded itself into my eyeball. Just had it removed with a magnet at given a nice eye cream :ambulance:

As always pics are everything:

It's a thought. Where I'm usually working in Britian I am working with brambles in with the trees and the face visor saves my face looking like a race horses behind by the end of the day!

Lol I gotcha. Throw a pair of clear safety glasses on under and you'll be good to go.

Safety glasses should be used under the face shields. Having had a three painful eye injuries that is one place I don't skimp on PPE these days.

I'm only on my second luckily! The first one was driving a dune buggy and got a piece of grit embedded in my eyeball!
