Hi from Cairo , Egypt [emoji4]

I just bought a Ryobi RCS 5050 Can you pls support me as I can’t open the 2 bolts.
The bolt won’t come out of the pin as I have seen in tutorials
I need to dismantle the cover to be able to ship it home.
Thanks [emoji1374]

Is the the chain brake engaged? Push the chain brake lever towards the handle and it should release the cover.

Are you meaning the studs came out with the bolts you took loose?

Am not sure what stud means, but if you mean the screws attached to the body, no both are not moving
The bolts are not free although both are completely loos

Pull the brake flag back to release
Tension on the clutch.

Or do you mean the bar nuts will not come off the studs that screw into the case.

Your pic is hard to determine the issue.

The issue is not yet came to the chain tension , the nut itself is not coming out to go the second step . Didn’t touch the plastic cover yet

Take the wrench and twist it off, use some force. Talk about an odd factory misstep

From your photos it looks like the bar studs (bolts coming out of the saw) and maybe the bar nuts are stripped (threads damaged). Try pulling on the nut as you unscrew them to see if they will come off, then have a close look at the threads on the bar studs and in the bar nuts.
