I’ve had a few bars I thought looked clapped out on saws I’ve gotten. I’ll take those bars and spend 10 min filing the burr off and most of the time they are still good.

I’ve had one 20” bar that was bent I straightened in a vice and it was good. Other 36” bar I had here was trashed because it was bent or twisted too. Tried saving it but it wasn’t worth it. Would keep cutting in a circle. Shame as long bars aren’t cheap.

Same for me. I spend 15 minutes and dress them. They work perfectly after.
I got one laminated 16" bar with a little curve in it. I'm gonna try and straighten it when it warms up to 30*.

So 50.8, there goes my plan to try and get my 540 a reason to live.
The 110 is 2.6 and the 111 is 3.2 , I believe y'all (meaning the chainsaw racing universe ) have chosen 3.1 to keep me down.

I appreciate you sharing, and inspiring. As we speak I search the Internet for parts and/or saw's,never cut a cookie in my life, but with weapons like I saw in the video posted last night, I can see a real need to fill the cookie jar...
