I guess it depends on if your talking in the cut or just for making pïss rev videos. Me personally I think you should be worried about in the cut… You know where the work actually gets done.
It means your chain needs workWhat does it mean when the saw only drops 1K when the it hits the wood?

Out of the box chain sucks. A few minutes in the right spots with a couple files can make huge gains on a new chain. What if it's an out of the box chain?

Being mean WOW their the experts everybody knows that.Sure the hell at Flabzy. These guys seem to know it all. And will have all the bestest answers. Just wanted the best for the OP is all. That’s mean Gunner… you should go slam your dik in a door or sumptin
Diameter of wood being cut matters too!I think thoughts have changed a bit over the yrs..
blunt vs sharp,
chip thickness,
smooth cutting,
angles of teeth!
Hard vs softwood,
sq ground/filed vs round filed, as well as Semi chisel vs full chis
Then you can add skip, semi or hyper skip.
these all change cutting speeds in the wood.
i will be interested to others thoughts on this, but once you go over 11/12k in the cut it don’t seem to cut any faster. There are other ways to eat through the log with some of the things is listed above.![]()
I am seeing 8.5-10k in cut on my stock saws (64-79cc), 20" 3/8" full chisel full complement round filed fully buried in turkey oak.Stock 90cc are usually 8.5-9k with a brand new chain on a 24” bar. Woods ported can be 11-12k
You got some razr, or was that your 1k rpm drop?
Your bars are too long for your powerheads too.My chains suck. Too grabby and don’t stay sharp

So where's the pic? Something like that you would surely be proud enough of to keep on your computer. Or other device.Never touch the stuff. I posted a pic on the AS many years ago of my tach reading 16K when I was tuning my 361 and they pulled it down and said it was because they where afraid people where going to blow up their saws/lol.
