HOW ABOUT A PIC OF RING COMPRESSORS
I have that set it works fine.I bought a set that came with several different sizes of the red clamps, a plastic piece to hold the piston, and two piston stops to aid in disassembly. All for around reasonably priced too. I'm digging it so far!
No air impact gun or battery impact gun in your arsenal?I have used the white plastic several times so far when removing clutches and flywheels. In fact, I have used it more than the ring compressors.
don't need any compressor on a 290 (MS anyway) just jiggle it in with a slight rocking motion.me tool. there is a couple units those will not work on 290 430
I have both actually. They are noisy though. I get home around 7pm from work and do not make it out to the shed until after I have put my two daughters to bed. I don't want to give my 6 year old any excuses to crawl into my bed because of some "scary" noises...No air impact gun or battery impact gun in your arsenal?
Works for me, no hatin here.I added a pic to the first post. Don't hate me.
and throw the white and black plastic away the rest of the red is good

I've used a piece cut out of the side of a bleach jug too.Beer can works good for setting rings
Not quite. Repairs are in a separate uninsulated building. Their bedrooms are on that end of the house. A rattling impact wrench is a noisy thing...My sorry
you repair the saws to the bedroom or living room ? and the childrens wake up of the noise
I have used this ring compressing kit for years I love it
