Oh man...I may or may not have a nice lil collection of antique winchester and Remington single shot 22 rifles to dig oot and get pics of. If they aren't camera shy.
I'd love to see them.
I have an eclectic collection of .22 rifles as well. I'll post pics as I have an opportunity to dig them out.

Those are nice little guns. I like the holster.
Mine is blued and in .22lr.
Below are a few other short barreled .22's.
The Keltec (10 o'clock) and Walther (center) and Bauer (4 o'clock) are centerfires. The other five are .22's.

Ruger, Savage 22 mag, 1957 Winchester Model 77. Father purchased that model 77 and when I have shot it removed that scope for open sitesIMG_9020.JPG , it has brought the demise of several woodchucks, raccoons, squirrels (friend made great dinners with them while at Ferris) and a couple cats. Have thought about upgrading that scope several times, but have always decided to leave it as my father used it. He only could have used it for 2 years.

The Marlin 60 is one of the most iconic .22 rifles ever.

Yard sale find.
Stevens something or other, maybe an 87A.
Mostly it shoots one round when you pull the trigger. Sometimes two and occasionally three. When it shoots two, you don't hear two distinctive shots. It's fast.

I had an old stevens like that, the lever & roller it locks around was was worn out & every time I fired it recoil tried to kick the action open if I didn't hold the lever tight.
Also it had been fired with shorts so much the front part of the chamber was eroded, so when firing long rifles in it the cases would stick & have to be pried out with knife point. Saw a lot of that back then, that was 60 years ago.
