I found a little blown-over ash in the pipeline. I had to cut one of the 'branches' off, buck, split, and load it into my truck, to get enough traction to skid the rest out to my landing.

That's a lot of BTU's there. Don't toss the bark when it falls off or you split it off either, plenty of heat in that too.
I just finished selling the last of my split pile and had the kids fill the wheelbarrow with the locust bark that was on the ground, burned a nice stove full of it earlier today.

Nice load.
Perfect companion wood for the locust, and pretty much wherever I find locust I find cherry, both have some great benefits.

17 acres of tops all around the size in the picture. Mostly oak and hickory with some poplar mixed in. The little trash find 36 is gona be busy as I'm not supposed to lift over 10 pounds lol.

Scrap refrigerator. The doors are off and on the back side. No idea why or how she wrapped it in plastic. She is an old single lady.

I can't remember which thread this was in, but. @Mastermind Inside of my holzhausen stack. I stacked 2 piles. I layed one pile with the wood horizontal, amd the other I stacked them vertical to see which one dried better. I'll grab some photos of the other vertical stacked pile when I get to it. This wood is a bit dryer than I originally thought. It burns hot and clean.

Big Ash log; Ought to burn good and warm next year. Got tired of looking at it, so it gets processed next. I split with a maul and call it my workout.
