You’ve been there, you know what I’m talking about. Much better if you’re pretty sure it’s going to happen and expect it. The “surprise” stand up is unnerving.

A quick 5-6 minute roadside score.
Though it was ash, yet looking more like oak now!
Sapwood & cambium look suspect...heartwood is there.
Reckon it'll make a BTU or two!
Any thoughts???

That locust is a score! Will keep you very warm. At least it was green. I've cut plenty that's been down for a year or so and its like cutting concrete.
