nah the trailer had a cement retaining wall collapse on it and bent it. Ill straighten it out later this spring and do repairs I just picked it up supper cheap.

I picked up a bit of Oak from a local tree service last week and finally got around to sorting it and deciding what to do with it. It was 8 trailer loads. My wife said we better get a sawmill so it doesn't just sit around taking up space. Some will be cut up for firewood the rest will be milled on my new to me Woodmizer LT40.

Looks like some good mill wood. Next problem is storing the wood while it drys.

Ive got a big empty barn that is plenty drafty to solve that problem.

This is what is left over from a logging transaction on my cousins property.
A good blend of red oak, hickory, maple and hackberry.
As much as I want & can haul for FREE!!

Helping a neighbor clean up a bit of pasture. One massive oak that fell over in the first pic. A rail straight 75ft plus hickory in the second. And three more I didn't get pictures of. Going to try and get another 8-10 good hauls before spring. Depends on his schedule. He loads what we cut with his big 4wd case. Makes it nice that I can leave my tractor at home to unload. Gets it done quickly.
