Looks to be a Jam up crew, keep the pics coming and stay safe...We hit the woods for a few hours today. First pic, my saw man.... He keeps me fueled, chain tightened, and anything else I need. Oldest son is in the background running the splitter, he keeps the old man from rolling logs and throwing his back out

Only other pic I took was the loaded trailer as we were ready to leave. Decent load for 2.5-3 hours.

Anywhere a kid with a hammer or a woman with clothes line can get close to a tree. Buying bandsaw blades out the yingyang. Town wood = firewood, y'all excuse my grumbling, having flashbacks...City yard tree. Old one. Dead standing next to a house.

Here were able to cut along the road as long we have proper permit and follow rules. I cut mostly on federal land with a national forest wood permit. On state land in Michigan it reguires a different permit and doesn't allow to cut standing dead only gather what has fallen. With the federal permit we can take standing dead.I see and hear of you guys cutting trees that have fallen on the side of the road. Do you own the land? Do you have to get permission? Or is it okay to take it without either?
You guys get punished by wind from nor’easter. ?There are so many trees down here in RI, I doubt they wpuld care. Probably be several months until they got to it anyway.
I only cut the downed trees. I would never cut a good live tree on State property unless authorized to do so.
