That's horrible man, happened at the shop once.....the drain for the washing machine plugged up....next thing I knew the show room was getting flooded with water. Took a good 2 hours of dry mopping to clean up....least the floors were clean!

Old farm house, limestone basement,pumps the only way out. Just replaced the water heater bout 3 maybe 4 years ago.

Nope, no sump, threw a wet switch in bout, 15 years ago but it failed. Dirt floors and such

Damn.

We had a basset (Bubba) when I was a teenager. Hell of a rabbit dog. He got hit by the neighbor's Ford LTD, broke his pelvis, but recovered 95% from that. 2 years later, the snow plow hit him, and there was no recovery from that one.

He was a nose with legs for sure, and a great family dog. I'd get another basset in a heartbeat, if I could convince the Mrs. and little Misses.

I got a redbone after the basset. Not near the natural small game dog. Too hard to follow too. Fast and trashy.

He was a great friend though.

Just buried him a couple of months ago.

My dog was just my best friend, she was with me thru the drugs, the drinking, the divorce, and the excellent days after all the hard ones.

Funny I had a basset hound that ran rabbits with the beagles. I've quit telling the story. People round here think I'm full of *s-word. Good to hear you had one that hunted also. I guess people assume only a beagle can be a rabbit hound
