This would be a good day to sit around the wood stove at the old country store and B.S. if we had any leftI still hate snow.
We still have a general store. Sadly the old store building got burned down several years ago, but the new building owners are good folks who both understand, and are a big part of the community. This would be a good day to sit around the wood stove at the old country store and B.S. if we had any left![]()
You are missing the point. Folks should not have to go through extraordinary means to avoid the tax bill due to insanely high rates. And yes, high government tax rates often seem to be designed as a way of keeping lawyers in business ... no argument there.Few, if any paid that rate.
You are also ignoring that the lowest rate was 20%, and few fulltime employed folks stayed in that rate.Few, if any paid that rate.
I hate the summer & heat, I run hot fast.I hate snow.
I ALWAYS have NO tolerance for idiots!!!I have a low tolerance for idiots today.

I currently see the same crap all the time with all of these trusts to avoid paying Nursing Home costs. Often, they are never needed, and they are a royal pain in the butt to deal with.
The other parallel I will draw is the high tax rates were, in part, the government's response to the high Federal Deficit after WWII. Well guess what, we are back there again (w/o any major war). Sooner or later, the bills have to be paid. You cannot just add to the deficit forever.
ThirdlyI second that
I'd move.
