Hey, Stihls may be expensive, but ever since I bought my 044 in 1992 I have always felt I got my money's worth from them.

And then there was the 029 I rebuilt/modded and thus subsequently learned why people rubbished the 029-390 series of saws. - Those POS get good resale prices, BUT only because of advertising, spin and ignorance that influences those who are 'out of the loop' on chainsaw performance.

There is a difference between 'Brand' and 'Model'.
