I used to drink way too much coffee … had to stop for a while, now I just limit it to 2 cups per day.
I used to drink coffee like/and instead of water, unfortunately it caused me sweat outbreaks and even higher blood pressure than I already had.

Now I drink instant cereal drink and decaffeinated instant coffee accompanied by blood pressure lowering meds.

[QUOTE="Wilhelm, post: 1179329,
No cake for me tomorrow night, I'll stick with alcohol. :godsdrink0nw:[/QUOTE]

I'm in total agreement. I've been brewing a batch of mead, split total into several flavors by backsweetening, and the remainder is almost ready for bottling. started look of mead is golden look, after backsweetening and about 2 months the dark look.
Ended up pretty good on the ABV, has enough of a kick it's like a good kamikaze20201206_140010[1].jpg 20201230_204600[1].jpg . 28-31%, got there by step adding honey several times.

I still drink a good bit. Some assume if you do you will have the shakes and such.
Honestly I can drink a pot, and hit the sack and never flinch.
But I suppose I may need to cut back. Not sure that I will. I love coffee.

New Year sucks so far.
Second day now I am at the verge of screaming out loud due to back pain whenever I twist my body or lift something one handed.
I need to support myself with both hands when getting up from a sitting or horizontal position in order to not collapse back on myself.

I am not a crybaby, which means the pain is real and fairly high.

D A M N , I'd rather repeat the whole of 2020. again instead of having this pain!!!

I was like that 2 years ago … they did an MRI and wanted to remove a disc, I said no and did PT, and it worked.

The Orthopedic Surgeon said he could not believe how well I was doing based on the damage he saw … I replied "good"!

But you need to find someone good, who can work with you.

Believe it or not, it was another member on the AS site who is "down under" that gave me a reference. Maybe he could do the same for you. I'm not sure if he has contacts in Europe.

Shoot me a PM if you are interested. I do my exercises every morning (5-10 min) and I do what ever I want!

My experience with shoulder pain had me go through several specialists. I finally ended up with a sports medicine specialist that only worked on that area. He knew on the initial appointment, what needed to be done based on previous tests and (and the results obtained with previous attempts) images. YRMV, bit I'm a believer insports guys, as they wan to get you back in the game ASAP.

I am usually quite resilient to back pain issues.
The pain appears to be located in the muscle strains, specifically the left one, not in the spine itself thankfully.

If I'm lucky I merely overexerted my back muscles a couple days ago carrying firewood.
Right now I am watching TV sitting in my massage TV chair with the massage on highest intensity.
I also strapped an electric back and neck heating pad on myself, also highest heating intensity.
The combination of both seems to help reduce the pain, I'll know for certain when I finish watching "The Croods" and get out of the chair.

I didn't have pain like this in a long time, didn't miss it at all.
One truly comes to appreciate health once the body is not at its peak performance.

Over the years I have had back pain a few times, and I always blamed it on a pulled muscle also, and it always got better.

But this time it was just a little worse, and the MRI removed the BS I was telling myself.

When you start feeling better let me know, and I'll give you a real short exercise routine that will help strengthen your core and prevent this from happening again going forward.

My day job consists of fairly hard work and I am well built.

I might still be interested to hear about that exercise routine. :)
