They ran 17 of them back when they mined the Yuba river. Real cool area with lots of history. It's known as the Yuba gold fields.
I would have loved to see it before all the mining. They moved the river a mile.Fantastic country
That's nice of them to let you work on your personal car at work.

My father does. I would think it 3X to heavy for a suburban. It would make an awesome power unit though. You got one setting around on the cheap?

Damn, my '12 Yukon over heated earlier today when my wife was on her way home with the kids. Not sure what happened yet. I may need to start a thread and get you smart mechanic guys help. It went into limp mode and she shut it off. It cooled off by the time I got there and didnt see any coolant on the dip stick or anything leaking under it. The reservoir was empty but could see and smell coolant so maybe it puked it out. She was only 1000 ft from home when it happened. I put 2 gallons of water in it and had her drive it home. The engine is now cold and the reservoir is empty. I didnt see a white cloud out the tail pipe when she drove it home so I'm not sure if its burning it. More than 2 gallons seems like a lot to lose if it just boiled over and theres no reason it should. I will pull the plugs tomorrow and check them. Only one code, P1258 over temperature protection mode activated.
