@Tor R I received some 266 parts. There was a Walbro WS17B carb. Is that right or for something else ??

this info came from SB 85.100.94
61 used a Walbro WS 17A, it was later replaced by the 266 Tillitson HS 163A, far as I can understand 61 s/n 5070400

Great thread here! Thought I'd add a picture and bump up the thread. I've heard a lot about the 288 and finally got a chance to have one. I put it together from 2 carcasses and added an AM top cover. Don't have much wood to cut that is worthy of it, but cut up a decent sized maple log for my BIL the other day. It was fun, lots of torque! Hooray 288!tmp_5851-11031710501972029434.jpg

This is how far I've got with my 42/242/246 collection: (ruffly half my 2×× collection is this serie.

42 Anniversary year 88, 42 year 90, 42 Special year 92,
242G Anniversary year 88, 242G year 89, 242 xpg year 91, 242 xpg cat year 95, 242 xpg year 96,
246G cat year 97 and 246 year 98.

My dad gave me this 266se. I was super excited because I have a blue top kit and had been looking for 266 for a while.
