Ya the cr cylinder is also a popular swap, these trx cylinders need a lot of work! It was also able to swallow a 4mm stroke increase and still be zero deck, so the squish sucks without machine work, or a stroker-crank. This cylinder with stock stroke left the piston .080 in the hole! Plus a .040 head gasket, Honda left a lot on the table!

Future boost ports? Chop off and lower the intake or reeds straight to the case?

Yes boosts. Intake neck will remain. Just filled it to make sure I had enough material on boost tunnels. Will grind out eypoxy for intake.

Should have left more meat above the boosts, got a tad greedy looking for area. Meh, that ring will never leave the plating.

It’s not easy to get a burr in all those crevices yet maintain a good finish. Looks great
