My ms 460. Traded my 361 and $120 for it. It's been real nice to have around for cutting firewood.

This is my dad's 036. Well, I consider it mine now. He hurt his shoulder and can't start it anymore. I bought a Dolmar 421 for him to use, so i figure we traded. This is the only picture I have of it and it happens to be after the one and only cleaning it's ever had. He cut firewood with it for about 20 years before I got my mitts on it. It really is a nice saw. I love the sound it makes idling. I put a 16" bar and full chisel chain on it. I use it for bucking softwood. Very fun.

I'm working on a big saw purchase. It'll be a real treat to get to choose between an 036, 460, and 660 someday.

How's it holding up well it goes kind of, it has the 1st coil in it and for some reason it runs fat kind of always has but its getting worse I've reset it a few times does nothing.. I need to pull the carb and have a look if the rubber washers have fell out and stuck in the intake? IDK but something is up with it..
Don't use it much after the rear bar stud pulled out of the case! I devcon the stud back in but I baby that stud and its only a band aid dodgy fix it, really needs a new case half to fix it properly.
Am I right in that the rear stud is a known problem area with the 661? I've seen a few with the stud all busted out of the case? IDK but I think I did read cr888 saying its a known problem and Stihl know about it or something?...
All I know if I was to buy another one the M-Tronic will be the 1st thing to go, IMHO it would be a sweet saw if ya could tune it.

This ash came down at my neighbor's place early this summer. We've got a good deal worked out. I handle the bucking and she gives me as much firewood as I want. We usually split it around 50/50. Used the 036 at the top and got out the 460 after the 16" bar got buried.

And yes, in case you're wondering, I do have a toy-sized wood stove. It's a Morso 1410. It likes splits about 10" long. Not quite cookie cutting, but almost.

As requested:

It’s running super rich, I last tuned it at about -10 in March, and it was 30 yesterday. And the chain isn’t the sharpest atm, but it’s still shovellin pretty good for a 71cc saw. By far my favourite.

I heated a two bed house in northern Scotland in the middle of nowhere with a Morso Squirrel, 5kw if lucky.

Great little stove, let it rip and open the windows, but yeah, small small logs
