Hay spear is perfect for a saw to ride on. One little bungee holds it on good I was running it through a lot of brush or I would have put it on the front yesterday.

Why run a heavier saw with less power when you got a ported 562? :)
In defense of the poor stihl, only reason would be because it's smoother.

562 is smoother to me than the 441. Saws are tools to me. I toss them in the truck and use them. Rarely does one ride in the cab

Oiler is the only reason for the 28”bar in dead ash.
That too I guess, but if I needed a 28 for hardwood I'd be jumping to a 70cc saw even if the 562 was ported.

I think overall the 562 is a smoother saw(as in I like it better), but the 441's I've had weren't far behind a 576 for smoothness.
I do like the sound of a 441c, even bone stock they sound unique.
Their tools to me too, I'm just in different settings that allow me to not have to throw them around as much. If I ran them every day for work I wouldn't care nearly as much, heck I'd probably buy new then too as there isn't that big of a difference. Every now and then mine get put in the bucket of the tractor, but I've usually got my chaps under them or a towel .
Sometimes they gotta come out of the bucket .
Couple springs ago whoops lol.

None of my sawz ever get tossed or thrown in my truck. I have a rubber bed liner too. Lol
If I ever carried a saw in my truck on a daily basis I would put it in one of the carrying cases.
I know they are tools, but I don't expose them to any extra potential harm.
Just me. I take care of my stuff.

I was cutting cedar saplings too big for the bush hog. Didn’t need much power just reach. If I wasn’t lazy I would have swapped to the 28” on the 562. I’ve dropped the saw to run faster out from under sketchy trees.

That makes sense. How big will the brush hog do.
I really want a pole saw, not sure which one to get, heard good about the echos and the stihls. Knowing me it will most likely be the one with the best price.
Do you have a lot of cedar down there, I cut one up at a buddies a month ago, then today when looking at a landscaping job they were talking to me about cutting one down near their house, hopping to work that in to an add-on to the job, I already do the lawn there so I think I can make that happen.
I drop the saw when I'm on a ladder and the branch is going to take me out:icon_popcorn:.

3” is as big as I like to run over with it. It’s hard on blades and bearings to hit bigger stuff. Lots of cedar cones up if the pasture is l ft alone or was previously logged

Mine is rated for 3", I've never hit a cedar with it, but man the stuff I have hit that was that big sure makes a nice wack:eek:.
We don't have that many here as far as I've seen, many planted near homes.
